We install Ubiquiti UniFi network systems across Los Angeles. Office buildings in Century City. Production studios in Culver City. Multifamily lobbies in Santa Monica. Estate properties in Malibu and Beverly Hills. Our team handles the full UniFi stack: structured cabling, switches, WiFi 7 access points, gateway, security cameras, and access control on one network with no monthly fees.

Why LA Businesses Choose UniFi Network Installation
No Subscriptions, Ever
You buy the hardware once and own it. Cisco Meraki licensing runs $150-300 per device per year. Verkada cameras cost $200-1,800 per year. UniFi has zero recurring fees. Average savings on a 50-device network: $15,000-30,000 over 5 years.
One Network, Five Systems
WiFi, network switching, video surveillance, access control, and intercoms all run on one UniFi Console. Your IT team manages one login instead of five vendor portals. Adding a new tenant or replacing a camera takes minutes.
WiFi 7 Performance
UniFi U7 access points push gigabit-plus throughput per client at 6GHz. Better range, less interference, faster roaming between APs across a property. Standard for any new build or major renovation.
Multi-Site VPN Built In
Site Magic lets you mesh multiple UniFi Consoles into one logical network. Office, warehouse, and remote locations all on the same VLANs without third-party VPN gear. Critical for franchises, multi-property owners, and growing teams.
Real Hardware, Real Throughput
UDM Pro pushes 3.5 Gbps with IPS enabled. Pro Switches deliver 480W of PoE+ across 24 ports for cameras and access points. Built for actual commercial loads, not just home offices.
Local Recording, Private Data
Network Video Recorder lives in your IT closet. Camera footage, access logs, and audit trails stay on your property. Better for compliance, faster for investigations, no monthly storage fees.
UniFi Network Hardware We Install in Los Angeles
UniFi covers the full network stack from gateway to wall plate. We design and install every layer.
Gateways and Cloud Consoles
- UniFi Dream Machine Pro (UDM-Pro): enterprise gateway with built-in switch, IPS, and 8 PoE ports. The standard pick for most LA commercial deployments.
- UDM-SE: Special Edition with built-in NVR storage. Combines gateway and video recorder for properties wanting one box.
- Cloud Gateway Ultra and Max: high-performance gateways for larger networks with 10Gbps WAN.
- Cloud Key Gen2 Plus: dedicated controller with 1TB drive for properties already running their own gateway hardware.
Pro and Enterprise Switches
- USW-Pro-24-PoE: 24-port managed switch with 400W PoE+ budget. Drives cameras, APs, intercoms, and phones from one chassis.
- USW-Pro-48-PoE: 48-port switch for larger commercial sites and full-floor deployments.
- USW-Enterprise-24-PoE: 2.5GbE multi-gig with 720W PoE++ budget. For high-throughput environments.
- USW-Aggregation: 8-port 10Gbps SFP+ for connecting switch stacks and uplinks.
WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 Access Points
- U7 Pro and U7 Pro Max: WiFi 7 ceiling APs with 6GHz support. Standard for new installs.
- U6 Pro, U6 Mesh, U6 Enterprise: WiFi 6 family for properties not ready to jump to WiFi 7. Still strong performers.
- U7 Outdoor and Mesh Pro: weatherproof IP67 access points for courtyards, parking lots, and outdoor commercial space.
- UniFi Building-to-Building Bridge: point-to-point wireless link between buildings on the same property without trenching fiber.
Structured Cabling and Ethernet Installation in LA
Wireless is only as good as the cable behind it. We pull copper and fiber for every UniFi install, and we do structured cabling jobs as a standalone service for properties already on UniFi or other platforms.
- CAT6 and CAT6A copper: standard for new commercial and residential. CAT6A handles 10Gbps for runs up to 100 meters.
- Riser-rated and plenum cable: code-compliant for vertical runs and air handling spaces.
- Fiber backbone: single-mode and multi-mode for inter-floor and inter-building runs. SC, LC, and ST terminations.
- Patch panels and racks: 19-inch rack frames, IDF closets, cable trays, and mounted patch panels with proper labeling.
- Pull boxes, conduit, surface raceways: code-compliant runs around concrete walls, hardwood, drywall, and exterior surfaces.
- Wall plates and keystone jacks: standard outlet plates, multi-port designs, and decorator-style panels for finished spaces.
- Testing and certification: every run tested with a Fluke or equivalent certifier. You get a printable report of pass/fail per drop.
If your property has existing CAT5 or CAT5e from a 2000s install, we can often reuse it for slower devices like phones and printers, while running new CAT6A to APs and cameras. We assess every job during the site walk before quoting.

UniFi vs Cisco Meraki vs Aruba
Three platforms compete for serious commercial network builds. Here’s the honest take.
| Feature | UniFi | Cisco Meraki | HPE Aruba |
|---|---|---|---|
| Recurring license | None | $150-300 per device per year | $70-200 per device per year (Central) |
| Cloud or on-prem | Both, your choice | Cloud only | Both |
| WiFi standard | WiFi 7 in U7 Pro | WiFi 7 (MR60) | WiFi 7 (650 series) |
| Camera + access integration | Native (Protect + Access) | Meraki MV cameras (paid) | Third-party |
| Multi-site mesh | Site Magic, free | Yes, license required | Yes, Central required |
| Hardware cost vs Meraki | Roughly 30 to 50 percent less | Premium tier | Mid to premium |
| Best fit | SMB through enterprise, no recurring fees | Multi-site enterprise wanting cloud-only | Large enterprise, government |

UniFi Network Installation FAQ
Does UniFi require monthly fees?
No. UniFi hardware is a one-time cost. The UniFi Console software is free. You manage everything from the dashboard with no recurring license. The only optional cost is Touch Pass mobile credentials at around $5 per user per year for access control.
Can UniFi compete with Cisco Meraki for a real business network?
Yes. UniFi runs commercial networks for SMB through enterprise. UDM Pro handles 3.5 Gbps of throughput with intrusion prevention. Pro Switches deliver 480W of PoE. WiFi 7 access points match Meraki MR specs. The major differences are no annual licenses and no required cloud account.
Do you do structured cabling without the rest of the UniFi install?
Yes. We pull CAT6 and CAT6A, run fiber backbone, install patch panels, and certify every drop as a standalone service. Properties on Cisco, Aruba, or any other platform can hire us just for the cabling. We test with Fluke and provide a printed pass/fail report.
How do you size WiFi for a property?
We do a site walk and a heat map survey. APs typically cover 800 to 1,500 sq ft each in commercial drywall environments, less in concrete or with metal. We map dead zones, interference sources, and client density before specifying AP count and placement.
Can you tie UniFi network to my existing cameras and intercoms?
Yes. We integrate UniFi Network with UniFi Protect cameras, UniFi Access intercoms, third-party DoorBird and 2N intercoms, and most major access platforms via VLAN segmentation and PoE. One network, one dashboard.
Do you run multi-site VPN between offices?
Yes. UniFi Site Magic meshes multiple consoles into one logical network. Office, warehouse, and remote homes all on the same VLANs. No third-party VPN gear required. Free with the UniFi platform.
Do you support WiFi 7?
Yes. We install U7 Pro and U7 Pro Max access points for new builds and major upgrades. WiFi 7 adds 6GHz support, faster throughput per client, and better handling of dense client environments. The U7 series is our default for new installs.
Is UniFi the same as Ubiquiti?
UniFi is Ubiquiti’s product line. Ubiquiti is the company. People search both interchangeably. When you Google “Ubiquiti network installer” or “UniFi network installer” in LA, you end up with the same product family.
